It's a trap!

Pros

Although there have been many departures, the company still has talented people in the trenches who are a pleasure to work with and very helpful. In addition, the pay and benefits are very good and customers seem to love the product.

Cons

If you're looking for an environment where you can utilize your expertise and make a real difference, look elsewhere. The executive leadership team lacks general leadership experience and it shows. The CEO operates with a “my way or the highway” mentality and has created an environment of intense micromanagement and zero trust. The only way to succeed here is to stay silent and do exactly what you’re told. There's no room for creativity or independent thought, and any questions or deviation from the script will likely get you fired. It’s a tragedy how much talent went to waste here because of this. Many of the top talent and experienced leaders have left the company already, and I believe more will follow. The disorganization and lack of communication here is also a major problem. Despite efforts by experienced team members to address these issues, they have largely gone unheeded. It’s a chaotic work environment where it feels like everyone is crashing into each other all the time. This leads to a lot of wasted effort and confusion, and it makes it very difficult to make any real progress. The autocratic leadership, constant micromanagement, poor communication and the ongoing fear of being fired at any moment makes it a toxic and demoralizing workplace. Stay away if you value your sanity!

Pros

The compensation was pretty good

Cons

Communication is lacking. Leadership invents work to validate their jobs that add no value but a lot of overhead. Low employee moral Zero culture If you've recently been laid off, or are looking for a new job and find an open job with kandji, move on. It isn't worth it.

Pros

Decent Pay, free lunch in office relevant industry to work in

Cons

Numerous internal issues from the top down. Few big ones you should know: 1. Little to no enablement besides initial training. Enablement managers know little about IT/MDM/etc. 2. Managers are constantly creating fear that PIPs or layoffs are on horizon if we don't reach quota. This is coming from CRO and VPs as well. 3. Commercial managers are not equipped to train reps. Most have no IT experience and little experience with actually selling at a startup. 4. They are indecisive and are not transparent with their decisions. 5. There are a select few reps, who are clearly favorites with management, that are selected to farm all inbound leads. There is no clear reason as to why these reps get to work these accounts, which close at a much higher rate. 6. Numerous reps who've taken PTO have been let go shortly after. PTO is not encouraged. 7. The company has demoted all leadership, including demoting a manager back to AE, and a VP back to commercial manager. 8. There is no PIP process, even though it was promised. 9. They will lie about attainment during interview process. There may be 2-3 commercial reps (out of 15) hitting annual quota. 10. There are a few reps that have lasted 2+ yrs, but the average lifespan of an AE is less than a year.
