Pros

Good benefits, standard "fully stocked" kitchen, they pay for your parking at the Kendall Cinema Lot, and bagel Fridays

Cons

Where do I begin? When I was convinced to leave my great job prior to Jobcase, I was promised the moon and the stars, only to be let down incredibly. Their office is completely negative with people constantly coming and going (fired and hired). I went through 2 bosses and must have saw over 10 people fired over my time there. It was amazing, everyone seemed to have the same outlook which is, "how does this company even make money?". Which showed the lack of transparency from the upper management to the rest of the employees. The executives are all too full of themselves to see how poorly run the company is and how unhappy all of the employees really are. Long story short, do NOT go and work there. They'll throw a big salary at you but it is not worth it. Most of the engineers are not happy as they're working 60-80 hours per week (including weekends) to get meaningless projects done. Overall, my experience there was very negative and I beg you, go find a better run company with a better product, environment and leadership team.

Pros

You get the chance to work with some really great, passionate people. You may have a completely different experience than those who have to interact with the CEO regularly.

Cons

I think it's common knowledge that the CEOs behavior, attitude, outbursts, etc are a major issue - however, whenever one of these reviews comes up he usually frantically reaches out to his employee base to post positive reviews to "bury it" basically suggesting it's for the sake of their shares and the company's valuation. He's really not doing himself any favors by continuing to put that sort of bandaid on things - he needs to take a long look in the mirror and realize he's developing a reputation of being miserable to work for. In my time there I was constantly on eggshells and filled with anxiety practically every time I had to interact with him. The phrase "Radical Candor" still triggers me to hear because he abused and skewed the intent of what it's really supposed to be about.
