Pros

There really isn’t anything. The company has new computers.

Cons

I’m not even sure where to start other than simply saying I can’t recommend anyone to work here especially if they’re just trying to get into the IT field. I hope that the people applying can see past all these bull 5 star reviews from current management employees that are just so randomly posted after they get a bad review. This place will destroy any enjoyment you have for computers and technology. Honestly a lot of the reviews I see for the company don’t even compare. They say about growing pains? You mean increasing your employees work loads by 150% while paying them the same amount expecting more work and more skilled work for essentially free? The management will take their clients side over the employees 100% of the time the client is never wrong even if they know nothing in regards to this field. There is little to no organization in the company at all. That goes from the documentation which is none existent to the management that can’t even manage to keep good hard working men. It just seemed like everyone was trying to push the work of on anyone else. I once seen it take then over 2 months to fix a critical issue that shouldn’t have taken more than a day. It’s true the company is building a game room for employees. But when we all met the goal that the leadership set and was told we were getting a thank you I honestly can’t thing of one person that was excited to hear about getting a game room. No one even asked anyone of us what we wanted. No one is going to want to come in early or stay late to play video games. The company does provide snacks in the kitchen( little bags of chips granola bars etc). They also do buy lunch. I’d say as much as once a week but ironically they used that as a positive thing when in reality only the daylight week day crew gets that benefit. So the weekend and overnight guys just get to come in and see how the daylight gets treated when they’re the ones doing the very shifts you struggle the most finding people to work. The company will not promote you if you do not have formal education IE degree or certs. Regardless of your experience and vast amounts of knowledge. I highly recommend to anyone who reads this review that ends up taking a job there to ask all of their co-workers how much they make an hour. If they’re willing to pay someone more who does less work and they don’t see a problem in that (which is 99% of the reason I left) then that’s their loss. Discussing your salary is a key way to assess how much the company values you over your peers. This will also help the company stop it’s pay inequality. A lot of these 5 star reviews aren’t that wrong the new building does give you lots of room to grow but these are a two sentence review with no real depth of work life and quality at Lefcon. The reviews are from current management that is the main reason everyone leaves here. This company is a 2 star company to work for. The best advice I can give you is never take anyone here for their word. If they say they’ll do something get it in writing.

I am very sorry that you had this experience and did not come to me with it. We try our best to please all of the employee's and provide them with everything thing they need to be successful. We provide free training for any professional certification that you want to obtain, and if you don't take advantage of it to better yourself, I am not sure how that it becomes a management issue not to promote you. The requirements for promotion are clearly laid out. When a new employee is given an offer letter the hourly rate, and benefits are clearly laid out. Everything is in writing. Regardless, It saddens me that you choose Glassdoor to air your frustrations instead of just coming and having a conversation about things. I wish you luck and hope you move on to great things..

Pros

Ton's of free time. Basically 0 management structure. Good health insurance

Cons

No sense of direction. No assistance offered No training offered Lot's of frustration over timelines that could be overcome if there was better inter company communication They also really like to tell you that they will supply you with training and hardware and then take a month to even give you the tools to do your job.. so that is cool

Its a bummer to hear negative reviews. But, there is usually a reason the employment doesn't work out. We strive hard to provide our staff with the tools and training that is needed. As advertised, it was not a novice level position. When a resume is submitted, we expect that the information provided on the resume is truthful. We don't expect to have to train someone how to program a device that stated on a resume. It does take a certain type of employee to work remotely.

Pros

Some of the people are kind of nice.

Cons

This place is an utter disaster, completely unorganized. There are much better positions out there, I recommend waiting for something else. The documentation is basically nonexistent, and what is there isn't of any use to anyone. The pay is about average for entry level techs, so you can find that, or better, literally anywhere. The difference is that you won't have to deal with the complete chaos that this place brings, and you'll miss out on some passive aggressive digs from the owner who drives a 100k+ car and pays his employees 30k a year. Just look elsewhere, this place sucks.

We appreciate the feedback and we are sorry you decided to terminate your employment. It is unfortunate that you felt the need to make comments on a public anonymous forum like Glassdoor instead of speaking to a manager about your concerns. As many of your former colleagues could attest, LEFCON maintains an open-door policy and does everything possible to implement suggestions from employees. I do not recall any suggestions from you. Additionally, we do not have any record of you wanting to take advantage of the free training and certifications which would allow you to progress in salary. You point out that our salary range is average, and we would agree with that statement. We provide the tools for any employee to advance through the company and be paid for it. I am truly sorry you felt to be a victim and judge what those around you have, instead of working to improve your situation. While it is true that customer documentation is a significate challenge. It has gotten much better of over the past 6 months with the implementation of new software that was invested in. It will be an ongoing challenge. We will do our best to keep ahead of it. We do wish you luck on your career. Despite your views, it was a pleasure having you onboard with us. You did a good job. We wish you would have brought your concerns to us, and we could have addressed them.
