I worked at LTI full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

Often Pros/cons are based on the projects or Business units or location we work. Yes, it is always challenging to start with any new organization but it depends how well you get along. 1. Presence in all major cities in India 2. Great place for female colleagues 3. Job security 4. Flexibility in working hours ( depends on project, client country and Business Unit) 5. Most of the times your senior management, practice heads are aware of your contributions. So no need to showcase unnecessarily 6. Open door policy, seniors are quite in reach 7. Strong admin team (again based on location). Workplace is well maintained 8. It uses SAP success factor. It's a smooth experience when comes to managing leaves, appraisals and related tasks 9. Unlimited opportunities if you are capable 10. You are always welcome to rejoin (if you were valued employee)

    Cons

Every organization has some areas where there is always scope of improvement 1. Foreign policies - well drafted but poorly executed 2. Foreign travels - You will get Visa and air tickets and then you are your own 😀. Hard way to learn if you are new to any country 3. Foreign HR support - it not bad for all countries, but for few it's pain 4. Parking availability is an issue at some location. It is motivation for employees to reach office early to get "sweet" parking spot

I have been working at LTI full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Good entry offer for laterals. But you should really use it to get a higher offer. - Good for people who wants job security at the expense of settling down with salary. - It doesn't take much long to realize how employee unfriendly they are.

    Cons

    - Confusing variable structure. - They calculate medical insurance premium & gratuity in your CTC. - Additional Insurances like "Parental Life Insurance" are OPTED IN by default. - They donate to flood relief or similar places by taking it from employees, and it is by default OPTED IN. - Everything that's "unnecessary stuff but you pay them", are opted IN by default. I repeat, they're OPTED IN. - Even if you're on vacation during the very short window they open for opting out of these meaningless things, you'll absolutely have to check your emails, else you'll have to pay lumpsum amount, and HR "won't be able to do anything" - Hike is standard 5%, great performances will never get you 4 out of 4 star rating, and you'll never see a hike above 5% (in fact, it may not even be a perfect 5%) - Managers will give meaningless excuses to steal away every chance you could get to be a little more happier. - Extra holidays that they must comply, like election vacation, will result in an extra weekend work for all due to unknown "business reasons" - Lack of career opportunities is sitting at moon height

I have been working at LTI full-time for less than a year

    Pros

One of the best training before deployment to project. Full reimbursement of any course certifications if it pertains to your Practice or Business unit.

    Cons

No choice of tech stack, you're randomly placed into training tech stacks and project placement depends on your performance in the training which is fairly rigorous. However you just have to work above a base threshold (which is not too difficult if you work smart and consistently) and you should be good to go for any project or team. If not, you'll be on bench for a while before you get mapped to a project and while on bench you can work on your skills. No choice in where you might get your work location. For someone flexible, this shouldn't be a huge problem.

I have been working at LTI full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

LTI is a very good company to work. Many projects are available with LTI that you can work.

    Cons

Low Salary and Low Appraisal Hike. If you join LTI at some salary, don't expect much to see change in your salary in coming years appraisal. Appraisal System is worst, whatever management decide rating that would be considered final and employee will not have any option to reject and there is no appraisal discussion happens.
