35% positive business outlook
Pros
Leadership, Work Life Balance, Team Environment, Healthcare Benefits
Cons
Tuition Reimbursement Program is lacking
Pros
If you just want the experience, it's fine for the short term.
Cons
There's nothing much to say about Lexicon Services. It's a mediocre company with a lackluster work environment. Employees here are neglected by the management, and the managers never show their appreciation for the employees. Our hours here are brutal, and the work experience is nothing but mundane. Also, there's no opportunity for meaningful learning and advancement here.
Pros
If you enjoy not having a life outside of work, receiving zero support from your manager, and never being able to achieve unrealistic expectations: boy do I have a job for you!
Cons
Notice how all of the positive reviews were posted around the same date? Interesting. It’s almost as if they bribed employees with snacks to post reviews. TOXIC work environment. Overworked. Underpaid. Under appreciated. No communication from leaders. There’s a reason why THREE members of top leadership left the company in a span of two months. Average tenure is embarrassingly low. No diversity in executive leadership. The list goes on and on.
Pros
Wondering learning experience and work environment
Cons
No cons that come to mind
Pros
The only pro was some of the people I worked with. We bonded over the absolute hell it was working for this company.
Cons
The CFO and CEO (at the time, they were both fired prior to my leaving) were not only terrible businessmen, and horrific to work for, but are also terrible human beings. Constantly throwing employees under the bus to save themselves from their own mistakes. I witnessed the CFO being verbally abusive to many employees and partners of the company. The main “client” of this company actually owns the company, and it’s a law firm full of a-hole attorneys who would treat Lexicon employees likes complete garbage. There was no positive leadership, and even less organization in this company. I still talk to several people who used to work here as well and the hatred people have for this company is like nothing I’ve ever experienced. I am not exaggerating when I say that this company caused me trauma by the extreme toxic and hostile work environment. Just when I thought this company was a distance nightmare of the past, I now learn via a letter in the mail from Lexicon that they had a data breach and my personal information, including possibly my SSN# was compromised. I can’t say I’m surprised, and is another example of why this company should be on a list of top worst companies to work for. Now I have to deal with my identity potentially being stolen because of this absolute dumpster fire of a company.
Pros
The current culture at Lexicon, all the way to the top leadership, is like nothing I've experienced in my career to date. The passion for the people is unparalleled, with a focus and commitment to true integrity and transparency. This isn't just communicated in company meetings. You can see it demonstrated daily in their behavior, how they treat people, and how they service our customer. Lexicon also offers exceptional benefit plans, a fun welcoming work environment and amazing people at every level.
Cons
One con that is also a pro is that Lexicon is going through a huge culture shift (for the better) but some struggle to trust the change and seem to be stuck in the old ways of doing things, including being fearful to communicate openly and discuss concerns or scared to try new things or a better way of doing something. The "this is how it was always done" mentality will not work where Lexicon is going, so some will find this as a con. Communication is also a challenge at times, but leadership has made substantial improvements already along with a commitment to continue improving to meet the communication needs of all employees.
Pros
I met some of my bestfriends here.
Cons
Lexicon severely lacks respect and value for hard working employees. The work environment is hostile, with no fairness and zero empathy or concern for employee well being. Management plays favoritism, participates in toxic cliques that thrive on gaslighting and was extremely inappropriate towards myself/many others. This was the most toxic place I've ever worked. Please run as far as you can from this place.
Pros
Free insurance, great benefits and PTO and catered meals every so often, today we even got Crumbl Cookies, flexible schedule
Cons
Management is a mess, extremely high turnover, filling spaces with underqualified, undertrained people. Management talks very poorly about other leaders and coworkers and blatantly makes up lies. I have seen walls being punched , doors, computers, everything swiped off a table screaming and crying and cussing. Things thrown at past employees. Management then goes and gets high in the parking lot and comes back in singing and laughing like nothing happened. No appreciation for employees, extreme lack of communication, too many hands in one pot. Everyone wants to call the shots and make rules without actually communicating with others or knowing a person's actual job description. Extremely hostile and uncomfortable work environment. No support in one's job duties or tasks, if you are off except to do double time when you come back. When they do not make as much money as they want they do lay offs so they can still get bonuses. 27 people have left in a year, that doe snot include the 50 who got let go.
Pros
Great work environment, with the ability to flex or work remote as the schedule deems. A great diversity of team members to interact with on a daily basis
Cons
Working and monitoring the call flow into the company does not allow much time for meetings but you find ways to be productive and get the information from other sources; it all works out at the end of the day.
Pros
Employer paid health ins Remote work
Cons
Toxic work environment. No leadership. The company has no vision - other than getting new clients. High turnover, especially at the senior leadership level. That doesn't make workers feel confident about the direction of the company! Many business decisions were made that seemed shady or foolish. You're expected to be available to work all the time evenings, weekends.
