    I worked at MYOB full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Flexible working hours. Able to work from different locations. Fair WFH policy Glen Waverley office is located in a shopping mall so able to nip down for a shop during lunch / after work.

    Cons

    New CEO doing a massive shake up of organisation causing uncertainty to staff Management inherited from previous BMT team are just reacting and letting people go because they are watching their own backs.

    Flexible work hours, nice offices, good atmosphere

    Cons

    Lots of legacy products, internal tools and recommended libraries change on a whim without reason, silos pursuing their own goals, poor communication between teams. Tries to regain focus on people, but cannot quite get there.

    Flexible working New CEO Some very talented (but hidden) employees

    Cons

    Employees told to "embrace the ambiguity of MYOB" - really just an excuse for poor management, lack of governance and flat out laziness from middle management. Huge knowledge gaps within the product marketing and marketing department, and redundant ways of working . Little appetite to improve ways of working and embrace new ways of doing things MIA human resource team - they are called employee experience and seem more consumed with holding events then addressing their people and resource issues

    - Great culture + people - Hackday events 2x a year - Smart people + talented developers - Coffee machine + great facilities - Conferences + learning budgets - Professional development plans + career progression

    Cons

    - Legacy software means lots of tech debt + still work required to maintain it. - A few teams have to hotdesk due to limited workspace - Some people do the lion share of the work + need to get properly rewarded for it
