Pros

The people here are great, very mission-driven and passionate. The mission is worthwhile and the audience we serve are some of the most genuine people I have ever met.

Cons

CEO is detached from business, doesn't seem to have any passion for the movement, nor has he built any strong relationships within the team. Different business units operate in silos, with little to no synergy between them. Too many consultants. Heavy focus on "Making" and too little on "Makers".

leaders at top making same old mistakes as before. Hey, CEO, fly around the world but make sure you come back just in time to lay off more people that didn't make the financial mess. fire the cfo. what a complete waste of talent you squandered.

Exciting industry where cutting edge tech meets a business that is pushing it all towards the masses. Probably, one of the most unique businesses in the Bay Area's history to be fair & honest.

Cons

No one department shared the same vision. Leadership directed, responded emotionally and with hubris. Clicks were made and clubs were in stone. Sad story of a start-up that had all the right material to succeed; but, was lost at sea with poor leaders and an organization that lacked business sense.
