Pros

Culture - they strive to push a culture that can be inclusive. They respect all cultures and try to understand each individual by blasting surveys.

Cons

SDRs are set up to fail. There is no training whatsoever. Training is similar to fast food chains you worked during high school where they put on videos for you to watch. I left without fully knowing how Monograph truly works to its core. No explanations on anything even if you ask for it. They ask for feed back and get defensive. They ask for feedback and no action steps are taken. They wonder why SDRs aren’t performing EVEN after getting feedback. Sales leadership had switched 3 times. No SDR has lasted other than 2 that got promoted into other positions. Two AE’s were hired on just to get let go 2 months later. They give you quotas to hit but no one ever hits them so no idea where these quotas are coming from. They ask you to get gritty with it but if you aren’t doing what they ask you to do it is questioned and you get told to stop doing it. They check in with you for your mental state just to keep their culture going but the check ins are meaningless since feedback gets overlooked. Communication within teams/departments is horrible. Teams expect leadership to communicate and many times we do not get informed on much from leadership.. instead we end up hearing it from other team mates weeks later at times. Asking for help is useless because leadership is still trying to figure things out even after many meetings of feedback. I would look somewhere else! There are better companies out there… save yourself the headaches and the waste of time! PS: Before getting brought on company makes you sign an agreement/PTO guidelines etc HIGHLIGHTING their 4 day work week plan. This is false as company states that working 4 days is a privilege and expect you to work 5 days if you aren’t performing or catching up to your tasks. If 5 days is the expectation, then communicate that in the beginning stages as opposed to making it seem like it’s a 4 day work week company. This is an example of bad communication!

Pros

The company used to have a clear path in product and was growing stably. The environment before a few changes (that I'll describe more in the cons) was awesome. I never see a company with such pragmatic development team as it was before. They used to work 4 days per week, but it has changed. Not a problem.

Cons

Every con started when two of the three co-founders decided to part away, and that means a lot. They hired a new CTO who clearly doesn't like to manage people. On the 1on1s he didn't look at the people's faces and spent that time texting. They fired almost half of the engineering team focusing 100% of their efforts on product dev. That was acceptable, but the problem started after that... That new CTO hired a new Engineer Manager who worked with him on his last experience, starting their own clique. So they started to fire people who were working in the company without ANY valuation (like productivity, skills, if those people were working late at night to help people with big timezone differences or even if those devs were not doing over-employment [working in Monograph and other company at the same time] like those that stood in the company) and bring more of their clique. What a shame...

Pros

Remote work use Salesforce, Outreach, and Gong The product has a consumer-friendly interface

Cons

No formal onboarding or training process Not open to feedback Goals are arbitrary numbers Major gaps in product features Low pay Demo accounts are not built/tailored to demo. Was told it was a 4 day work week and they switched to a 5 day work week just 2 weeks in Fired with no valid reason other than a reference to my first demo and told my outbound numbers weren't high enough (they were the highest on the team) Only met with the CRO twice during my time there. I was hired to be his direct report The new sales manager has no experience (first time) managing and most likely does not have the resources, support, or tools to develop in this position.
