Pros

Commissions were decent and most of the properties are top of the line.

Cons

Management is awful. First they had a president that was only kept on because of her intimate relationship with the owner. They would leave for hours every day during lunch no matter what chaos was happening. Then they brought in another VP along with all her staff from another company. They are all rough. Match every negative stereotype of property managers in the 90s. I will say things got better and somehow she got the president out. But it was still awful. It’s always changing policy. And the VPs are ugly to the property staff. The one in Austin was the worst. It’s a high end property management company run as a low end company.

Pros

They will leave you alone ....and at first you will think it's great they have so much trust in you but the reality is they have zero clue what they should be doing.

Cons

NE Property Management lacks strategic planning, particularly when launching new developments—marketing is often delayed or ignored, leading to poor performance. Leadership avoids accountability, deflects blame, and seems disconnected from market realities. The company has a history of being removed from third-party management deals, now operating under an owner-only model that appears reactionary, not strategic. Internally, HR practices are opaque and retaliatory, fostering a toxic culture where integrity is not valued. Not recommended for those seeking a stable or ethical workplace.

Pros

Most of their apartments have a great curb appeal and the developers create a unique apartment (but it’s very cheaply built).

Cons

1. Afraid of change- this company does not look at any other way to get something done then “their way” social media, marketing, application process is all from the 2000’s. Handing out popcorn & attempting to have meeting with fortune 500 companies is not how to market a 3 star apartment. The dress code is way to up tight, they want you to dress like a ceo because they think rich doctors & businessman will live there, when in reality it makes the staff look up tight & hard to approach & none of the resident are doctors or businessman. 2. GM & Regionals - I have worked with a lot of property mangers & regionals but they take the cake when it comes to being unprofessional. I had multiple situations where the GM & regional would argue in front of the staff just to show who had more power. My Gm would show up to work 15 minutes late everyday & then get mad at her employees for being 1 minute late. It’s fair to say the regionals & GM’s do not hold themselves to the same standard as their employee’s. 3. Leasing- they use onesite as their software for property management software, which is by far the cheapest & worst software you can have. None of the GM’s or regionals even know how to operate it. They have a policy in place where if you are not occupied at 95% or higher you will not get vacation days. They literally try to scare you into getting leases. They micromanage every outgoing call you make to prospects & tell you all the things you did wrong never what you did good. 4. Property management- I have never felt so bad for residents in my life. The policies from corporate were just ridiculous. You would get in trouble for helping residents carry packages, issue $25 trash notices for literally nothing, issue noise violations without even doing any investigation.
