Pros

Everyone is very kind and clearly in the job because they are passionate about helping children and young people Generally well organised Opportunities for CPD

Cons

Sometimes screening of volunteer email responses by supervisors is insufficient and questionable advice is given to the service user. Some supervisors are more proactive than others.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experiences and for your time with us. I am delighted that you valued the opportunities for professional development, as this is important to us. I agree that the service has at its core kind and committed professionals who are dedicated to helping children and young people. We have a robust quality assurance process to ensure the consistency of our service. I would welcome a follow-up conversation if you have suggestions on how we can build upon this, as we are always keen to learn from the experiences of those who work with or have worked with us. With thanks and best wishes. Shaun Friel (Childline Director) shaun.friel@nspcc.org.uk
