No support with training or development, Unsupportive staff, HR useless, bullying/misogyny within the workplace was ignored by senior managment and directors, lots of favouritism, they are aware of implicit racism in the workplace
NSPCC Response
5y
This is very concerning. And in no way the kind of experience we want anyone working or volunteering at the NSPCC to have; or that we will condone or tolerate. If you feel comfortable getting in touch with me directly to share your insight and experiences so that I and we can act on this, please do so, my email is Brett.Terry@NSPCC.org.uk. I am happy to have the conversation in confidence if you’d prefer. Thank you, Brett
The people who work for the NSPCC are truly inspiring. They really are so friendly, passionate and dedicated. They could not be more happy to help you when you are in need of support, and there are so many opportunities to get involved with the work of the NSPCC right across the organisation.
Cons
There is not a huge amount of development opportunities within the NSPCC. This means that the staff turnover is often fairly high. However it is fantastic experience in itself and once you have it on your CV you can go anywhere.
