Pros

Great design-build work experience if you are busy enough. Benefits include health and dental insurance, cell phone reimbursement, mileage reimbursement, vacation time, accruing sick leave time and a few others. Most every one that works there are friendly. Good work/life balance and work environment, if you are working with a good team or if you are getting enough work as a general design associate.

Cons

No rewards or compensation for great performance or system in place for raises (if there is, it is next to impossible and a long, discouraging process to receive what you feel you have earned). No acknowledgment of design associates or their talents or skills. Design Consultants rarely seek Design Associate help from within in the company, but rather hire from outside the company, leaving current Design Associates confused and out of work.

Pros

Flexible schedule, work from home options

Cons

Management doesn’t have anything together. Fosters a “profit over people” business structure and overworks and undervalues production teams. In this particular position, gender biases run rampant and HR continuously ignores the issue.

Pros

The only pros I have are that this was part-time with benefits.

Cons

Neil Kelly prides itself on trust and its culture. With that said, management does not follow the NK company handbook or policies themselves. HR is lacking honesty and integrity, instead enabling misconduct from management. You can collectively come together to express concerns and mistreatment within an office and still be removed abruptly from your position. Sadly, speaking truthfully is not respected, validated, or supported. I've never experienced such an unprofessional environment for all to endure. My interview process did not meet the expectations of the actual job. This was an extremely disappointing experience
