      Country managers run personal fiefdoms in africa

      Country managers/boss can turn very vindictive at slightest provocation. host of them are company loyalists who have been in africa for over a decade although they wish a posting in the "developed world". If you are looking for a professional environment, forget it. Singapore based skeleton HR has NO power to interfere.

      This is for OGBS, Chennai • Good pay • Decent workplace

      Below mentioned is applicable only for OGBS Chennai team – IT, PMO and OE teams (not operations team) One will feel that, you are on your own in no man’s land. But yet you will be criticized and penalized for the work done. Top management guy has hygiene issues like, peeping into laptop from behind without person’s knowledge, peeping and monitoring into the meeting room through glass doors from outside, overhearing the calls by standing next to the person, shouting and yelling at the person in public forums & meetings by letting him down, Himalayan intense mood-swings, attitude & ego issue, etc etc and list goes on. Now you know where this company is headed with such a leader and his traits!! Employee will be traumatized mentally and emotionally in all possible ways. Employee will be constantly bullied in all possible ways and every chance. IT team reporting to Finance guy? Nuts ?!?!? it was INSANE !! Forget work-life balance, you will not have LIFE !! Hire & Fire is the mantra used here effectively If you haven't got an offer elsewhere, forget joining here and wait for other opportunities. Strongly recommend not to join this company and regret later.

      Say No to OGBS Chennai

      Nothing to say, there is no positive

      Cons

      Boneless management and HR. Don't join OGBS Chennai. Managers and HR's are boneless people, they don't support employees. Even HR's doesn't know the policy. Policies are introduced at the time of issues randomly. My career is completely spoiled by Olam Chennai.
