Thank you for sharing your experience. We're happy to hear that you had a good relationship with your manager and they provided you the autonomy you deserved. We see the value of work from home and provide for it in our plan; however, as a real estate company we proudly promote the importance of in person connection and work environment.

Pros

Central Los Angeles to everything in DTLA.

Cons

Bad onboarding and inadequate job training. Initially, I was hired as a Project Coordinator, but it turned out to be an Insurance Liability Officer which is a higher-paying position. I expressed that I was not certified to do that work, I was responsible for verifying multiple kinds of liability coverage certificates. I advised it was the job that wasn't consistent with the title of the job position, as a project coordinator rather than an insurance agent, which was 90% of the work. The person I was supposed to report to in Canada with any questions was always on vacation and toxic. I told my boss, who ignored my concerns and did not have my best interest nor did he give me any support. It was not easy a very toxic work environment.

Thank you for the time you worked with us. We understand your disappointment with the focus on insurance as a Project Coordinator. Unfortunately, sometimes in the progression of the project this is a key focus as we're starting and onboarding trades to ensure all is covered. Due to our size, sometimes job roles become very focused. Anyone reading this that is still with us, please let your supervisor know of your concern and we will do what we can to increase the breadth of job responsibilities. Most concerning is your statement to respect women. We do not tolerate any discrimination of any sort and if you have an experience, please share with us. You've also stated experience with a toxic employee that was intended to be there to help you. This is troubling as our peer network and mentorship is a key contributor to our health as a company. We are always looking at ways to improve, provide feedback and uphold a key component of our business operations. We will use what information we can garner from this post, but if you have any specific comments, please email hr@onni.com
