I will only be speaking about my experience within the finance team; The team fostered a culture of blame, shame and observed favouritism. Good work ethics were ignored and went unappreciated.
Team management didn't have an outlined training program and in my case; I was left with team members who were abusive, threatening and humiliating. Practices like pointing knives at employees and threatening were executed infront of management and the management chuckled over it.
Upon raising the complains pertaining the work culture, management disregarded them by responding "please only raise complains pertinent to work" or sometimes there was no response what so ever.
If you're going to be a part of finance team, just be prepared to stand up for yourself because no one else will.
