Pros

Most of the folks are great team members and it was great working with them. The pay is good and the bonuses can be quite generous if the company does well and you perform well. The parent company Xylem also has a Flexible Time off (FTO) policy where you can take unlimited time off.

Cons

The company is in a constant state of restructuring and reorganizing which leads to uneasiness amongst staff members (they think, am I the next to be eliminated?). Vacant positions are going unfilled, and they think they can grow a business without replacing staff that have left. The international structure of Pure and Xylem leads to peculiar arrangements where they are trying to manage technical staff in the Philippines which is 12 time zones ahead, and your supervisor may be far away in another country. Pure follows Xylem’s daily meal expense policy which is ridiculous and exhorbitant. A field technician can charge $80 for a single dinner, and the costs of these meals are charged to lump sum projects. This leads to widespread abuse which is shockingly tolerated. There are some staff members that submit timesheets weeks or even months late which makes tracking costs on projects difficult.

Pros

Great team environment, For the most part all field techs, PMs, managers are good people. This makes it easier being away from home overnights. Overall easy job, easy to learn if you listen Travel around the country Merit based, if you work hard and want to learn and make it clear that you want to learn and be a good hand, the team will help you grow but if you don’t carry your own weight and are more of a inconvenience the team themselves will not want you around. -Easy to get along with team, - cool job, once in a lifetime experience tbh -IDEAL if you are young/single or no important ties back home, you can make a lot of money if you put your head down and work.. awesome experience!!

Cons

travel could get heavy for some more than others, if you have wife and kids could take a toll on them or yourself. Might feel repetitive at times, but at the same time, no project is ever the same.
