They even improved that a bit! * For people fresh from the university, this is an amazing place to start from; there is a lot of shared knowledge amongst colleagues, great environment, nice people, management layer is really friendly and approachable, good teamwork in the office and fantastic schedule * Before leaving (leaving was kind of a surprise even for me) I shared with the managers my desire to improve in my career and follow a new path. In that moment I saw a lot of encouragement from the managers, support and willingness to help me achieve this new position. Regarding the project I worked in: * Obsolete technology from almost a decade ago * We were never given time invested in getting rid of the technical debt * We were never given time to upgrade infrastructure to stay up to date with the current version and current security fixes * We were never given time to upgrade the programming language version to benefit from the improvements in performance * So old the technology that we could not solve some bugs coming from external libraries because the newer version of those were either not compatible with our code version or the project had been simply discontinued several years ago Regarding the company: * A lot of people are leaving the company for various reasons. Not always it is something that has to do with Raet itself, but personal reasons or exciting job opportunities
