Great friendships overshadowed by toxic management and low pay
Pros
Most of the people that work there were great created some great friendships and met some wonderful people.
Cons
If you are considering an opportunity at SAI, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. I was recently terminated without cause for simply performing the duties I was hired to do. The company culture is deeply toxic, driven by an upper management team that leads by fear and frequently retaliates against employees. Middle management is equally ineffective, lacking the necessary skills to manage people or resolve workplace issues. If you do interview here, use any offer letter you receive as leverage for a position at a different company. During my time there, I witnessed more than eight people fired without cause, creating an environment where employees were too terrified to speak up. Operationally, the company runs entirely on an ad-hoc basis with zero long-term planning and a stubborn resistance to modern ideas. To compound these issues, compensation is roughly 35% below industry standard, the health benefits are subpar, and there is no 401(k) match..
