Pros

Pay is generous, unlimited PTO (requirement you take at least 2 weeks off a year) Health Insurance (wasn't as good as past employers) People (GREAT people work here, no one takes themselves too seriously) Work/Life Balance (I personally never felt overwhelmed or had Sunday Scaries)

Cons

Start-up Environment (lots of collaboration required to obtain clear answers) Product isn't fully fleshed out (see above: start up environment) Growing Pains (recently laid off 60+ people)

Pros

The benefits are pretty neat, especially after being acquired by ServiceTitan. Entry-level folks are amazing and work hard.

Cons

A lot of hot air, not a lot of actually-getting-there. Solid teamwork, innovation, and consistency across staff- yet recognition is sparse and reward for said efforts is practically non-existent. You will be leading without title or pay should you choose to go beyond your station, which is literally emphasized in their recent ‘Leading Without Title’ program. It’s interesting that what myself and my colleagues have already been doing is now so formalized and proud. Leadership are pleasant people, but they will lead you in circles. They tell you they have big plans for you, but will not tell you what they are or act on them. You’ll be praised for doing exceptional work, but not appreciated. This is not an isolated issue, but a trope, particularly in Operations. Our numbers are solid and they climb, but we do not and remain stagnant.

Rich people helping their rich friends

Pros

The benefits since being acquired by ServiceTitan are nice. The people in the lower ranks that work around you are amazing, but anything team lead or higher don't care about you.

Cons

The "heads" of the company are not Austin Haller so Glassdoor is out of date, the names of the "heads" are Stephanie and Vincent Payen. The people at the top just do not care about anyone but themselves and their rich friends. They've made it clear they'll use the hard work of everyone below them to advance themselves and claim credit for their work when they don't do any and have 0 understanding of the product they chose to takeover. Team leads are no better and further their agenda to keep the lower people down while they advance up the ladder while the lower levels get underpaid and their work is taken advantage of with 0 appreciation or compensation. They've also started hiring back close friends of theirs and giving them impressive titles and pay while refusing to update the salaries of their actual hard workers who carry the company. These jobs were never posted anywhere internally or externally so they're simply made up for their friends. It's reaching a fever pitch, you ask any lower employee and they'll say with confidence they're ready to leave because they know the company will begin to sink without them.
