Pros

Benefits and PTO are pretty good plus they are mostly remote.

Cons

Terrible culture! We merged into this company and I had very high hopes but instead it has been my worst nightmare. After nearly a decade of working for the company that merged with them, I got a write-up for something that was not my fault. It was the fault of one of the principals who did not do what they were supposed to but it was kept hidden and I was the only one who suffered the consequences. Also, they invested all this time and money in CultureWise where they outlined the culture for the company yet no one especially the principals do not follow through. They had a massive layoff recently and people are resigning daily. The focus is all on the numbers but there is no support or tools. Pay is mediocre for the industry and the raises if any because they are constantly threatening about raises are only 3%... an absolute JOKE! There is also no growth. You will pretty much be in the position you get hired for, for the remainder of your employment. Took the day off today to warn others about this company and to apply at other places. DO NOT RECOMMEND this place is a nightmare!

Pros

Coworkers are the only good in the entire company.

Cons

SimiTree sold out a few years ago and is now owned by a PE group that makes all the decisions. Since then, they have brought on staff from Pakistan and Jamaica, replacing US staff one after another. Projects are understaffed, upper management are snakes and cannot be trusted. They even let one of the partners act as the fall person with one of the clients and forced her out. It’s a dysfunctional company.

Pros

WFH which allows for work life balance - as long as you do NOT allow them to force you to put email/teams on your personal cellphone; I suppose it's notable that the HR department is kind and really TRIES to make a culture, but seemingly that culture is great only for leadership, executive and c suite.... the regular employees are disposable - it's important to remember HR is there to protect the company...NOT you.

Cons

Low salary, little to no bonuses @ Christmas, increases promised at 5% which is still below inflation rates, but in fact was 3% across the board last year, expensive benefits and a healthplan that is mediocre coverage with high copays and/or deductibles, toxic leadership, they do not pay for supplies aside from a laptop and a monitor, I purchased keyboard/mouse, I use my personal cell phone, I have to pay for postage for mailed items, paper and ink for my personal printer...then wait several weeks for reimbursement without interest, lack of coaching or constructive feedback, c-suite and other executive leadership hides behind screens and you have to wait at least a week to discuss anything outside of an email thread, started outsourcing overseas to India, Pakistan, Jamaica and other non-American call centers to verify benefits (hello, incorrect VOBs are a direct negative affect on the company - they dont make money = we dont make money.....) while understaffing and underpaying the employees here, client complaints are expected to be resolved by lying or shifting blame to insurance companies, I could go on about the toxic environment....but nothing compares to the management/leadership team dropping F-bombs and emailing things like "F this client" at 2am or threatening to lower your salary if you do not fix an error on a task that he messed up due to his/her poor time management (hence, the 2am emails) .... The lack of staff has to be the number one issue though. Understanding the logic of Corporate greed and taking shortcuts to make the already wealthy wealthier is above my paygrade, ironically. So, I will leave that right there. Was this enough information to provide?
