Pros

Would like to say they pay well but they don't. They have decent benefits. If your in the good ol boys club you have a job for life no matter how unqualified you are.

Cons

As an equipment operator I can see how the lack of management knowledge hurts the business day to day. The general manager is clueless and is not qualified for the job. It is a "who you know" job they don't look at your quality of work. It's sad when all of mid level management is smarter than the person they work for. If your not from the club you will never move up in this company.

Pros

Overall, employees seem to be treated well. The benefits are decent.

Cons

It's a large company, but small sites. The Engineering group supports several sites across the US, but supports them from a distance or travels to support them. The managers do not support a healthy work-life balance.

Pros

Besides a steady pay check plus benefits and option for a lot of overtime which sometimes becomes a negative since it's made "mandatory" there's aren't much pros.

Cons

Site management needs to really step up their game or step aside, their lack of experience shows everyday in the decisions they make. They do a poor job everyday from the people they hire to the work they plan. We never have the right parts or tools and the managers never have a real answer, they just want to tell stories of what they did at a previous job, STOP LIVING IN THE PAST. The company preaches about safety but managers ignore a incident when their favorite employees break rules.

Pros

The company has a strong corporate principle and works in an important industry.

Cons

There have been instances where the behavior of two senior leaders has contributed to an environment that feels psychologically unsafe for some employees. While their leadership styles may be tolerated due to their influence, the impact on team morale, trust, and open communication is noticeable. Success appears more closely tied to internal alignment and visibility than to collaborative integrity or real outcomes that drive value for the company. Individuals who manage up effectively are regularly promoted, even if their behavior toward peers and teams is corrosive and toxic. There are many examples of this, particularly in recent years. Passive-aggressive, information hoarding, backchannel criticism, and credit appropriation are not only common—they’re often seen as effective tactics. Formal HR processes exist, but don't work. When issues involve "protected" individuals, they are quietly deprioritized. Across multiple functions—especially corporate roles—employees quickly learn a core, unstated truth: everything is tolerated around here, as long as you’re in the right circle. The executive leadership team appears disengaged and on the way out, just waiting for the paycheck. The experience of working here varies dramatically depending on who your manager reports to within the leadership team. For some, policies are flexible and accountability is optional; for others, even basic fairness feels out of reach. It’s an organisation of extremes — where equality, consistency, and meritocracy are talked about far more than they’re practiced. This has created a trust vacuum, where many competent professionals choose to disengage or exit altogether.

Pros

Site managers and staff within individual sites were professional and genuinely cared about their site, the company success and their employees.

Cons

In my experience, a very mistrusting and toxic environment within head office.
