Pros
Good relationships with former co-worker. You will learn a lot on your own. Be ready for a ton of stress and long hours.
Cons
Partners – same as previous reviews…very cliquey & unprofessional!!! If you’re not part of their clique they won’t promote you, acknowledge you or help you. Very discouraging and frustrating for staff that work their butts off…but this year with the high turnover they had early promotions for those people that weren’t ready to be promoted!!! Good one… Hours – this place is like a sweatshop!! You work, work, work and keep working year round. With the high turnover, you become the staff, the semi and manager on some engagements. After you’re burned-out and threaten management with your resignation, then they listen to you and promise you a better work environment…but that never happens. Comp – for the hours worked and stress level you get from partners and clients, compensation sucks!!! Even after OT (for staff and semi-seniors ONLY), you’re still left with a bad taste…why? Because the partners are so rude and appreciative!! Turnover – if you’ve read the previous reviews, you’ll know that turnover for this company is NOT normal. They have a really hard time hiring and retaining quality people, because anyone with a brain can see that management doesn’t know what they’re doing. A former manager once told me: “if HR starts to leave, it’s time for you to leave!” So this year alone, the company had 2 HR Directors resign (TWO in less than 6 months!!!) and one assistant. I’m not sure what inside information these people had, but it made me realize the company wasn’t doing well. PLEASE, PLEASE…if you come across a review with 4/5 starts, please be very skeptical. The review can be from the marketing department, HR or an innocent staff that got bribe when they first started with the company.
