•Unfortunately Skillsearch still falls behind its Brighton counterparts in terms of dress code and the office environment. Unlike other Brighton based agencies it’s still expected that you wear smart shirt and trousers to work, where others would have a far more casual environment. There is also extensive room in the office which could be used as a staff break area, both inside and out. However the management have failed to use this space and there is nothing provide any time of team lunch./chill out area. Without any real effort they could provide a work space that would rival other local competitors.
•The basic salaries are slightly under the average for Brighton recruitment companies. Although the commission structure is good and rewards those that are doing well.
•Skillsearch does not offer any benefits package, of course they will introduce a basic pension when required to with the change in government legislation. However again to bring it in line with its Brighton counterparts it would be a plus to see further pension constitutions, private healthcare and cycle to work schemes would all add to what Skillsearch can offer.
