The office is an absolute mess—disorganized, poorly run, and plagued by absentee leadership. The head of the firm is routinely unavailable, skipping internal meetings and disappearing for hours with no communication, which derails schedules and leaves teams scrambling. Basic requests take days (sometimes longer) to get a response, and critical decisions stall because the owner simply doesn't show up. His empty promises are a running joke, and they come at the cost of real progress. The work has become formulaic, and any initial draw quickly fades under the weight of mismanagement. While the firm advertises work-life balance, the truth is there's no real leadership or structure to make that balance meaningful. There’s no upward mobility. The starting pay and benefits might look appealing, but don’t expect raises, promotions, or professional development. Young employees are often placed into project management roles without support, guidance, or additional compensation, due to the "hands-off" approach the firm promotes. When dealing with clients, the partner often undermines the design team and makes promises without understanding the project or schedule, creating chaos for designers, contractors, and others. He then shifts blame to absolve himself of responsibility. There is a consistent pattern of over-promising and under-delivering, both with employees and clients. The office itself is physically unkempt and mentally draining. Internal relationships are so casual that they sometimes verge on unprofessional or petty. The firm owner speaks poorly about younger employees to his senior team and favoritism is blatant. As other reviews have noted, he clearly gives preferential treatment to some female employees while ignoring or undermining others. His behavior toward his favorites is unprofessional and unsettling, and it influences project assignments in obvious, unfair ways. This isn’t just a disorganized office—it’s a place where leadership actively creates chaos, shields itself from accountability, and fosters a culture of mistrust and dysfunction. I would not recommend this workplace to anyone.

Honestly a very disorganized and uninspiring work environment in my experience. ‘Upper management’ did not know how to communicate professionally, and was often very immature and passive aggressive towards employees. For instance, upper management would often talk poorly about the employees to others in the office, in a gossipy way. There was no office organization, despite employees asking for more structure and support. It fell on employees to take care of things like order paper towels or simple office supplies. As for the work, there are a few nice projects on the website, though the budgets were generally very low. It often felt like employees were expected to figure it out. Sometimes it felt like the employees needed to manage and delegate tasks to upper management. Employees hired as junior designers were often quickly put into project manager roles with no guidance and no pay increase. Almost everyone who was hired in this office is a young, pretty woman, to the point where it got a little weird. Another review on Glassdoor discusses some more serious topics which I won’t go into.
