      Pros

      Specac is a company with great people and excellent management. Not many places encourage personal growth like Specac does. The management is there to guide, rather than dictate or overrule the employees' choices, trusting their experience. The company offers free bananas, and free thinking is encouraged. Whenever a problem is escalated, the right answer is always provided, and the support is incredibly helpful. Management is always there when issues arise, offering guidance and support to solve any problems that come up.

      Cons

      There is a lot of pressure to achieve targets.

      Pros

      Specac has recently acquired Harrick Scientific, another infrared spectroscopy accessory company. It means for a lot of change and growth. Innovation is on the cards and the manufacturing systems are being streamlined. The driving force is a new inflow of of capital and knowledge from Ampersand Capital Partners.

      Cons

      Some people might struggle with change and the merger. The train is leaving the station, if you're keen....get on!
