Toxic Leadership

Pros

There are some truly great people that work for the organization. *SOME* of the benefits (profit sharing etc)

Cons

I would give this employer 0 stars if it would let me. The leadership in this organization is downright toxic. They do not care about their employees and will bully any person who dares to give a different opinion or viewpoint on anything. If you plan on trying to be open and honest with your leadership about issues you are facing and any type of EAP services you are/will be doing, that’s when they get even more toxic. You are even more below them as a person and team member than you were before, and they will make it a point to gaslight you and break you down even further until you can’t handle it anymore. And don’t even think about going to HR about it, they’re an even bigger joke. You report a “leader” to them, and you’re on the fast track out the door, even if you’ve never been in trouble a day while working there. These “leaders” don’t care about their employees, work-life balance, mental health, or the patients… all they care about is the money. This place is not worth your sanity.

No longer great place to work

Pros

The only pro for me was that I did make some great friends working at the clinic.

Cons

Use to be a great place to work. They used to care about employees. Way too many upper management staff and positions and not enough worker bees. Terrible leadership. All they care about is money and how they will get that money. Yearly raises are minimal and staff are not appreciated. If you are not liked or disagree with upper management they find a way to get rid of you no matter how many years with the organization. Upper management let staff go to bring in their friends. Benefits use be ok but are now less than mediocre after they changed from sick and vacation to PTO time. Staff lost time and now earn less. It can definitely be like a Peyton Place with all the drama.

Pros

If you're lucky, you might get to work on some great projects.

Cons

There are no true priorities because EVERYTHING is a priority. Ray Williams (the CEO) is weird. He doesn't really talk to the 'staff' and has a huge bible on display outside his office. He doesn't have a strategy or annual goals/objectives. If he does, the leadership team doesn't communicate them out. Too many in the C-suite don't have time to develop their teams because they're too busy having sex with one another, the physicians or the doctors wives. If you're not a favorite then you'll go nowhere. The Sr VP of Ops is a self-admitted 'passive-aggressive'. Some of her direct reports are the same and she does nothing to hold them or herself accountable. Everyone in the C-suite is so concerned about power that they're constantly talking about each other behind their backs. The CFO rarely works and is a chauvinist. He didn't do annual reviews on any of his direct reports because he 'didn't want to'. How is that valuing your team? No dignity and respect there. Maybe you need to redo your leadership 'why'. The CIO leads by avoidance and kept a toxic team member in place way too long and it destroyed any credibility he had. The Chief Dev Officer is so arrogant he won't meet with anyone below a VP. The most toxic organization around.
