Exceptional Company: Incredible People, Innovative Platform, Inspiring Leadership

14 Dec 2020 - Director in London, England, England

      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Company culture is second to none: Employee wellbeing is of paramount importance to Sprinklr's ELT. The Platform is incredibly well engineered, with customer feedback central to the development roadmap. There are so many growth opportunities for people with a positive mindset.

      Cons

None of any significance; just the usual growing pains you would expect from any fast paced organisation on a fantastic growth trajectory.

      Engaged & Innovative Organisation

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Customer and Employees are on top of the chart, the organisation absolutely preaches there values. Humble leadership, very agile and supportive in changing policies for employees and going out of the way to support everyone as much. Innovative organisation, very fast in making decisions.

      Cons

      Nothing at all, keep shining

A great company with a not so great outpost in Bengaluru

26 Apr 2021 - Senior Customer Success Manager in Bangalore
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Company is clearly on the fast track to growth and go public - Opportunity to work with some cool brands - Good mentorship provided by Directors / VPs in the US - Total comp is pretty decent

      Cons

Management in Bengaluru is comprised of a former club of Dell employees who then proceeded to fill all the middle management positions with folks from the the services industry - think places like KPMG, Cognizant, MuSigma etc. The problem with these people is that while they come with significant people management experience, they have next to no idea about how a SaaS based business runs. Associate Directors / Directors are more interested in redundancy of work by asking the CSMs to fill in spreadsheets, rather than actually learn some work for themselves. CSMs are overworked, and the management clearly doesn't care. Over the past year or so, close to a dozen CSMs have already left the team, and it has all coincided with the arrival of the current management.

POISONOUS WORKING CULTURE, NO WORK LIFE BALANCE, ZERO LEARNING

10 Mar 2021 - Program Manager in Gurgaon, Haryana, Haryana
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Not a single one, there should be some to mention.

      Cons

      1. Disgusting work - you'll do only monotonous work here. No Scope of learning or enhancing or application of your skills. No mentorship, no guidance, no training 2. No work life balance- They treat employees as a slave, labor or machine and you will be occupied all the time even on your day off. 3. Unrealistic deadline which is beyond the reach of achieving by anyone unless a team of 100 are working together, still managers expect from you to deliver it in such unrealistic time duration. 4. Management is only here to create unnecessary pressure with negative motivation. Right from senior directors, product heads to VP all are same. 6. Product managers with less experience and no leadership qualities, low maturity and high attitude are on big posts like directors who don’t have sense to talk, they yell at their subordinates, use inappropriate language, treat them badly and make direct reporters feel useless, worthless and demotivated. 7. Highly Poisonous work culture - please don't join, it will destroy your career. Specially when senior managers don’t know how to treat their employees. 8. Most unstable product with lots of flaws and no scope of improvement at all.

      Sprinklr Response

      Chief Culture and Talent Officer

I am sorry to hear about your experience and want to better understand. Your feedback is very inconsistent with what employees are sharing through anonymous surveys, our highest employee delight scores in years, and the record level of engagement happening across the company. I would be very interested in learning more about your experience and what area you work in. Feel free to reach out to me directly to further discuss your situation. Culture fit between our employees and Sprinklr is very important, as is your happiness. Our goal is that every employee thrives personally and professionally. Poor Work Life Balance

9 May 2021 - Product Analyst in Gurgaon, Haryana, Haryana

      Business Outlook

      Pros

Used to be food and parties. Loans for covid and subscription for learning resources like linkedin, audible.

      Cons

Employees are treated as labourers, working weekends is normal even during the pandemic. When asked if Sprinklr would have 4 days/week working, the answer was that feel free to take as many leaves. Which we all know how that is perceived. The company has a core value of passionately, genuinely care and while the executive team does sound like they care but it doesn’t pass beyond the senior leadership team. The Culture and Talent team has put in measures but they are not followed. It’s all fake. I don’t know of a single employee that is not scared and burnt out in last 6 months.

      Everyone around is always unhappy

1 May 2021 - Product Engineer in Gurgaon, Haryana, Haryana

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      - Relatively Good salary - Merit gets rewarded - Annual Goa getaway - Some really hardworking people, others are overpaid slaves - Interesting gossip all around

      Cons

      - Little to zero share options or you are tricked. - You work 24x7x365 for sprinklr, your entire universe is sprinklr. You will work on Weekends without a question. - HR is a joke here. - Zero energy left when you leave office. - Everyone around you is constantly trying to get out of this place and they cannot. - All managers and higher management are an arrogant bunch. - No independence at your level to do things. - It will take huge mental toll to get over this toxic workplace.

      Only work no life

9 May 2021 - Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) II in Bangalore
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

To be honest nothing at all

      Cons

You can be summoned anytime on any day. There’s no worth for you as person. They will treat you like slaves. They say automation is important but will ask you to manually test everything saying we need to send this to production ASAP. The developers will push whenever they want to and then we have to test it. But they are not at fault, even they end up working on the weekends even during the pandemic because of the inhumane leaders in the engineering department.

Don't kill yourself for an IPO/12+ hr/365 worklife.

31 Mar 2021 - Anonymous Former Employee in Bangalore

      Business Outlook

      Pros

      * Once a great company now riddled with politics playing crooks ruining lives of its employees. * You'll be celeberated for sacrificing your family, personal time (12+ work hrs). * You'll never be thanked for the good work you do with bonus/merit. (Not everyone is given bonuses) Instead you'll be toyed by your manager. * If you're good with politics. A great place for you!

      Cons

      * Work-life balance is non-extent. You are expected to work 12+ hr to be considered a good emplyee and most of the times on weekends as well. * Modern day IT slavery after everything turned WFH. * Sexism over work, pay and promotions. * Last minute slam dunk is very common i.e you'll be thrown into brawl at the last minute when things are falling apart with customer integrations. Chaos!!! * Good people leave Sprinklr cuz they see the values of good worklife is not enforced nowhere. * Don't join just for the fat paycheck. Life is meserable here!!!

      They only care about money

11 May 2021 - Lead Engineer in Gurgaon, Haryana, Haryana
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

They provide subscription for some good resources. Eg. Amazon audible and learning resources

      Cons

They would not give you any time to use those resources. You are expected to work for them day and night . They will ask you to check something even if you are sick and have taken a leave. You can't invest time in your personal development and learning. They would give little higher salary compare to others to treat you like slaves.

      Work Life Balance

14 May 2021 - Product Support Engineer in Bangalore
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Great Company Culture. Fell in Love with the way the Company values it's Employees.

      Cons

No Work-Life balance. Performance is gated on Target/Goal-oriented rather than the type and the amount of effort one invests in the work for the team.
