Pros

Some decent bonuses over the last decade, 401K match exists, a plethora of employee benefits available at open enrollment.

Cons

Company has been successfully sued for not paying those bonuses mentioned as a pro. It’s hard to get ahead with just hard work. Brown nosing and nepotism seem to pay off better than hard work in many cases. Company culture has severely declined to the detriment of the average employee with no breaks on the horizon.

Pros

Very employee centric culture and leadership. Hard working and dedicated employees with a strong sense of community and togetherness. Great bonus potential.

Cons

The steel industry is very cyclical and can be heavily exposed to the effect of tariffs and economic swings.
