Pros

Nice office I guess, free coffee although bad, free milk, standing desks.

Cons

- Please believe the reviews when they say that any positive review has been written by management or consultants who have been forced by management to write them. - Storm5 benefit from the fact that new starters think it is a different company from Storm2/3/4/6 but go and read their reviews, because all the storms are on the same sales floor, all working under the same people who only think about themselves and their favourite minions. Working here will genuinely make you question your own sanity. My advice to anyone who considers joining any of the Storms is: don’t, steer clear, and keep your mental health intact. - Everyone compares this place to a cult or an asylum. When you think about it, it’s really the same: what do the Levin group and a cult have in common? They prey on young, vulnerable and inexperienced people (graduates). They follow a leader (the few select grads who make deals and climb the ladder), sell them a dream (trips, incentives, commission, promotions, equity, top biller, “from grad to great” 🤮), but it’s all a scam and a lie (they are really struggling/sinking as a business, they will fire you if you aren’t one of the lads or a typical brainless loud salesperson, they have no strategy and hyper focus on KPIs, are heartless when someone has health or family issues, laugh about it in meetings…). - The favouritism and sexism is rampant, demonstrated by last June’s mass layoffs across the group (about 60 + people worldwide - and they are now recruiting again? What a joke). If you’re lucky to befriend the right people and play the game right, you’re off the hook, even if you haven’t made a deal in months. Whereas if you’re a quieter personality that put your head down and was closing deals, bye bye, see y’a later. - They are great at making people feel bad for things that, in any other company, wouldn’t be an issue (being ill, working from home on the one day/week we are supposedly (contractually) entitled to, arriving after 8:30 and leaving on time…). The nagging and comments are constant, the basal level of respect is so low in this company. - From the day you start, you notice the massive turnover rate, try to put your head down and believe that if you do what they tell you, you might be spared. But everyday, there is the fear that today might be your last at the company. Constantly worrying about being exited should not be a part of anyone’s job. The stress is not worth it. You become numb after a while, looking forward to the weekends to disconnect and relax, but even then, there’s no getting away from the high levels of stress and detachment. - 90-95% of non-sales people were laid off recently, without any warning, branches abroad were closed… the ship is sinking. There are plenty of other recruitment agencies out there with much better commission structures, opportunities and culture. Do not spend a single second entertaining this one and save yourself a trip to the therapist

Not worth it

Pros

There is (was) good potential for earning good money for your first role - sadly, these opportunities are now few and far between. Lots of reviews complaining about the KPIs etc., but realistically, it's a sales role so that's to be expected.

Cons

The management is really quite poor - 3 leaders in the space of 9 months, a completely unstable team with people leaving every other week, and completely under-qualified people taking on leadership responsibilities of which they have not been given or earned. The earning potential was there when it was founded, but now the market is pretty shocking and they're not hitting budget (even with a team of under 10). The team is almost entirely made up of men, leading to an uncomfortable environment for any women who join - expect to be asked about your sex life every other day, including who out of the team you'd most want to sleep with etc.
