Toxic Senior Leadership

Pros

There are some passionate and talented people that work here. I used to report to a strong and smart Director who cared about getting things done and promoted and rewarded good work. There are still some really good managers here. If you are someone who can go along with whatever you are told, you will be fine here. I learned so much here and had alot of opportunities to expand my knowledge. But politics are more important than results now unfortunately.

Cons

Senior Leadership is toxic. The CEO talks about transparency and the importance of allowing dessenting opinions, but that isn't true. It's what he has to say to appease Japan (corporate). I brought up unethical behavior and in short order I was pushed out despite the successes I had in performance over the last 5 years. I went to more than 1 HR person and got no support. I went to the chief compliance officer and he admitted that he could not protect me. If you are someone who values transparency, trust and teamwork and doing what is right for the company you don't want to work here.

Horrible Executive & Senior Management

Pros

There are no Pros !

Cons

If you accept a job here you will learn quickly that you made a mistake. Get out fast. A lot of turnover during the years. Management (if you want to call it that) is the worst. They have zero understanding of the term "leadership". Not sure how some of the people at the top got there. Lot of backstabbing and zero trust within.

Overworked and undersupported

Pros

The majority of the people that work here are good and kind. The 401K matching has been around 9% in aggregate each year.

Cons

Our corporate office in Japan is disconnected from what is happening in the US. Our business model is to be easy for customers to work with but we do not have the systems or the staff to support the customization. This results in frustrated customers and frustrated staff. The systems here are not integrated so much of the work is manual, redundant and reporting is difficult to get. The executive leadership is consistently focused on Revenue above customer satisfaction, employee engagement and efficency. This used to be a company I could recommend, but unfortunately, much has changed for the worse. I don't see the executive management tam proactively working to correct these things and suspect they will not act until they are forced to do so. The culture used to be about trust, transparency and teamwork, but it seems that those things are just words now. I don't see them playing out in daily interactions. It's every man for himself. Good people who want to do the right thing are not listened to and everyone is overworked. We have no new products so they are saving their way to plan when we were running skeleton crews as it is. Cons far outweigh the Pros of working here. Not proud to work here anymore.
