It is going to be a long one but trust me this is not biased and I am sure everyone in the Bangalore site wants to speak this out but doesn't have the courage to do so.
1) Things are run by a bunch of dictators. You please them and you will be getting promotions, even though you are not talented or have the skill to grow.
2) Managers hire their family members even if they are new to the industry. If you refer someone who is talented and has the experience, the HR team will reject saying they are not qualified. So, you need Manager's recommendation to get in and referrals are a joke.
3) If you please the management, you get promotions even without IJPs.
4) If You resign HR team will threaten you saying they will not give the relieving letter and will not clear your BGV when the next organization sends it for verification. My colleagues were going through a lot of traumas due to this and Tangoe says they value employees’ mental health. They Manipulate the documents that you have signed when joining and add rules according to the situation.
5) No intention or effort to retain talent. Usually, organizations try to retain employees/talents by offering hikes or promotions. Here they threaten and try to retain you. They will hire new folks who have no knowledge about the whole damn industry and give them 20LPA but here 8+ years employee who is working more than that newbie gets only 8LPA
6) Recently there is a trend going on, you get promotions based on religious views. Top management is BJP supporters and if you are one then things are easy. My colleagues went through this. Diversity at its best!
7) They say we are open to any feedback, if you give feedback, you will be out soon as you will be targeted.
8) The worst HR team I have ever seen in my career.
9) No hike from the past 3 years and for name’s sake they gave a hike this year and expect us to be happy. It was better if they didn't give, this was like an insult.
10) You call HR to discuss your issue and you end up listening to his family and personal issues.
11) No other benefits to the employees in terms of monetary and wellbeing.
12) US team has no idea how Indian management manipulates things.
13) No skip level meetings. You meet HR when you join and if you are getting offboarded. HRs are close to the managers, so what you discuss with them is shared with the entire management along with your name and you become a target.
13) To the entire management, people leave because they are not being paid properly or have a bad manager. Tangoe has both issues, so let them go. No individual has signed anywhere saying that they will work with Tangoe for eternity or will dedicate their life to Tangoe.
14) To HR who responds on Glassdoor, your response

let me tell you, no employee wants to complain about their manager to himself. Do you think people actually care what has been displayed in the town hall? Then you are wrong, people attend to see if we will get a hike this year or not. Please DO NOT ask me to reach out to HR/My Manager with my issues. I have tried and it has backfired.
