    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook

I have been working at United Way full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There is an emphasis on work-life balance, the work can be very rewarding and enriching, the people are terrific.

    Cons

There are not enough "experts" in charge here. Most people calling the shots have no experience in the nonprofit sector. The hierarchy is very top-heavy, and there is very few opportunities for growth within the organization. Does not live their values.
