Pros

Nice Christmas party every year, and Company picnic, Decent pay, Most the time you get a xmas bonus but they always give you the same excuse of how bad the economy is so they can't give you that much.

Cons

Management is not very professional, No loyalty to there people in this company, not a very well kept working environment, worn out work equipment, No incentives for our department. Sales is all they care about.

Pros

Great sales /marketing training classes. Wonderful support and Encouragement from Sales Managers and fellow sales account executives. If you want to learn about consultative selling and sales techniques very quickly , then you should work at Valley. This is a good job to experience growing in a sales career.

Cons

Vally really needs to work on more online & social media advertising. Unfortunately print advertising is on it's way out and online and social media is in. The salary base should be higher for their AE sales teams. As a former employer myself, I don't need my employees to worry if they are able to pay their rent, etc, plus the pressure to generate new sales business on the first 3 months. AE's experience the hardest job in the company. Most small businesse owners are not very friendly to yellow page advertising people. So make sure you do your homework research before you present your advertising program to a business owner.
