Pros
Eastern Utah is a paradise for some outdoor activities such as mountain biking and ATVing. The local community supports each other and this job location would be perfect for anyone who wanted to work "off the beaten path."
Cons
The publisher of this newspaper plagiarized from the Atlantic Monthly. Editorial standards are pitifully low. There was a very high turnover among editorial staff while I was there. Management frankly didn't understand the importance of the newspaper to the local community or the value it offered. "Digital first" was constantly preached but there was no coherent strategy for digital publishing.
