I have been working at Zee Learn full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Flexi-timings, nice people around, positive work environment, nice location, interesting places around.

    Cons

This company should register for world record for most delayed appraisal cycle. Top management has few people who can not be looked upon.

    Advice to Management

Remember that company runs because of the employees, learn to keep them happy or else be ready to face the consequences.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Zee Learn (Less than a year)

    Pros

Salary on time ..Company by name and profile is good

    Cons

Does not consider ..employee as human ..considers to be machine ...no analysis is considered about the area or the geographical area.higher authorities are biased .Service issues are never addressed.Claim process for employees is so clumsy that employees end up not claiming it at all from the company.

    Advice to Management

Need to change the process of work and need to focus on service first than only sales

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Zee Learn full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Interesting nature of work, allows for creative thinking, work culture good at zonal levels though largely dependent on supervisor

    Cons

Zero in career growth and career management for serious workers, a culture of sycophancy where interim salary hike, promotions are announced for people who curry favour with the top management, especially prevalent in the Head Office in Mumbai. Has a serious problem of top management listening to only "YES MEN" in the organization. Unfortunately seems run by a closed coterie of people who safeguard their jobs at the cost of blaming staff down line to cover for their inadequacies ( I used to be amongst their Mid Top Level management, so had a first hand experience of this aspect ).

    Advice to Management

Luckily most of the Top Management responsible for this culture have been sacked or have left, unfortunately the biggest problem is the current COO, who has probably ruined quite a few careers due to his blind nature of listening to his own preferred group of people, this gentleman still remains in the system.

Please take note of performers and take interest in their careers.

    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Zee Learn full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - Employees can have many opportunities to learn from the plenty of mistakes company commits.
    - Zee tag but I doubt its working anymore for the company

    Cons

    - Top level keeps changing some join the company for a paid vacation others are asked to leave for reasons like illegal acts/ non performance/ politics. Junior and mid level are ok but comparatively more dedicated than top level, but they are demotivated because of no appreciation (monetary/ non-monetary)
    - No KRAs defined for all employees
    - Work on Gut-feel approach
    - Candidate can easily influence HR/ Hiring Managers wrt to salary, designation, job level
    - When existing employees don't get their desired salary/designation, they usually resign so that HR retains them at a better offer and that is what exactly happens
    - Dirty POLITICS! Get in if you can handle

    Advice to Management

work in the company to make it a better place/ brand and not for personal gains
