Pros

The benefits were nice, some companies have better but a lot of companies are worse.

Cons

Middle management needs to be evaluated based on how many employees they hire to fire. If a manager is unable to keep employees under them then the C Titles need to look at the manager and why they have a hire turn over rate. Also when there is a department with more than one manager and both of their styles are different. For instance Manager A will worry about the work their employee did as long as they got the work done on time or was vocal about the delay while Manager B will be worry about their employees just been seen doing work instead of actually doing work. For instance Manager A will allow remote work to their employees while Manager B will be like no you can’t work from home because I need you to be here because I do not understand the product so you need save face in meetings. Another con is not much growth from when you get hired unless you have Manager A because they will so their best to see you grow while Manager B will not not help you nor will they tell you how to get a raise or a title change. IE from a Junior to dropping the junior title.

Pros

- people care about each other - free lunch on wednesday - things seem to be getting better, improvements are being made for the system

Cons

Im sad to see that the company has changed a lot since a new CEO joined. It used to feel like a family. Now people are always scared of getting demoted or in trouble or not getting even considered for roles, if they voice their concerns, at least I am. The CEO of the company is tone deaf to the people actually doing the work, and doesnt realize how worthless it makes people feel when he tells them to ‘take a vacation’ or ‘go for a walk’ or ‘enjoy a nice dinner’, when they are working 6-7 days a week 12+ hrs and still cant afford his idea of vacation or dinner. Also, he posts weekly videos and then gets mad when people dont want to watch them. We dont want to watch them bc he is either bragging about taking time off to vacation, talking walks around his very nice neighborhood, making jokes about the white male salesperson drinking and doing squats AND when he does call people out for doing good, he can’t even pronounce anyone’s name correctly or get their department right. Don’t thank me if you cant even say my name right, its very embarrassing and ends up as a joke anyway. He sends out rude emails to the entire company with misspellings and just wrong information, belittling the people for not responding to the ‘anonymous’ surveys and telling us to do better. Has he ever thought maybe people are scared to respond bc he is just going to try to find out who says anything? He makes snide comments about what people have said and that just makes them scared he knows it was them. Give people an EQUAL and FAIR chance for opportunities. The CEO's actions and behavior are making it a bad place to work, and it's not the same company I used to know. If you're thinking of working there, you should be careful and think about what you might be getting into. I truly hope it changes soon.
