Pros

An ideal school to learn from scratch. There are teams that tend to teach and assist. Many talented developers. Have good health insurance and sodexo and equipments.

Cons

Lack of product perspective and data analysis. There are projects that are progressed with business decisions and started without any research. Failed projects are closed. No one is being questioned as responsible. Why it failed is not discussed for any reason. When the upper management level changes, all the processes below change from scratch and employees are expected to adapt to it. You can't get salary raise without saying I'm going to resign. Low wages compared to the market. Thanks to the Getir 2021 bonuses canceled and no one event cared about it except us! I'm glad that I changed my company without Getir taking over the entire company.

Has a wonderfull UX team. We can apply UX processes vey well.

Cons

Last week we meet with new CEO of Getir - is the new parther of n11.com) via an online meeting. He gave a speech to all employees, unfortunatly everyone watched with dissapointed faces. Because he was not have an empathy, said that bonus will not given that year, there is no a hard economic cricis in Turkey -we know, feel, there are!- .. We all shocked how he has no empathy! ..

- Constantly Shifting Demands in a Chaotic Environment: A major source of stress is the need to keep up with constantly changing demands in an unorganized environment. Additionally, the normalization of this stressful working condition by company management is quite unsettling. - Unrealistic Performance Expectations Without Adequate Compensation: Employees are expected to perform at 125% capacity while significant pay improvements are not provided in return. - Reduction of Time Allocations for Projects by Upper Management: Time estimations made by teams for projects are cut short because upper management desires quicker completions, disregarding the realistic assessments of the project teams. - Abrupt Transition to Onsite Work for Remote Workers: While continuing with a completely remote working model, there is suddenly an expectation for people living in Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir to return to onsite work (5 days/week). A hybrid transition process is not implemented, and instead, a complete transformation is demanded within a mere 1.5-month period.
