Pros

Incredible opportunity if in your 20s and want to make a good salary. Fun young people to work with. Not a ton of experience required to get a sales job.

Cons

Where to begin, there are so many it's hard to know what to start with. CEO is an egomaniac who is abusive, disrespectful, cruel and only pretends to care for his employees. VP of sales pretends to be on your side but is only out for himself. There is no guidance, mentoring or constructive advice. He closes every deal according to him so why even have a sales team. Plus, he can't think for himself, it's all about what the CEO says to do. Promotions aren't justified, they are just handed out when other sales reps leave. CEO says he fires everyone, but more than half the sales force has left him. VP of Sales and CEO talk poorly about their reps to executive management. If you aren't liked, then they basically start treating you like an outsider so you will leave. "You will make more money than you ever dreamed." - trust me, this is not true, especially in Denver so many jobs that you can make more money and be treated like a human being.

Pros

Fairly good career advancement. Tons of people that have risen up through the ranks through customer service and up. Pretty solid group of people to work with at the individual contributor level.

Cons

-The CEO (John Raeder) regularly acts like a temperamental baby if he doesn't get his way. -Terrible management, just plain awful. Can't get anyone in management to pay attention in a meeting (they're always on their phone/computer), they can't communicate effectively (if they even try), there's no basic strategy, and on and on. Across the board, this is the worst management team I've seen. -Very politically connected culture. There are multiple hires that no one wants but the CEO has overridden and then burdened people with. Current employees that keep getting passed around the organization because no one can fire the person and no one likes working with them. -It's a matter of time before each and every person gets thrown under the bus. Anyone that's been there for a year or more has had it happen to them. -Lots of items in contracts with customers that the company can't/won't do. -Benefits are pretty bad. No 401k match, bad health insurance, and you can't even contribute to your own 401k for 6 months. But at least there's beer in the fridge?

Pros

Fairly cool company to work for right out of college. You will get a lot of access to the CEO, just not the rest of the management team. You will definitely get some cool title for resume building and probably a quick promotion, and the pay is competitive. Lots of praise coming your way in the first two months. Very close to the Cricket for drinking away the day's many pains.

Cons

Access to this CEO is not something you want. The second you go from being one of the hundred+ yes-man in his organization you are out. The reviewer who mentioned vaporware hit the bullseye, you are not really building any real sales acumen when you are literally mandated to tell a potential new customer anything and everything to get the sale regardless of truth, and when you have so little pricing integrity you can discount as much as needed to compensate for the product shortcomings. There is no real process or systems that a legitimate company would have in place, like full fledged human resources, performance reviews, lead generation, that type of thing.
