I am currently a dispatcher that's been interested in the IT field for several years now. I've hobby'd on computers my whole life, but just now started getting certifications in the last year (A+, Net+). I'm currently working on CySA+ and have plans to do BTL1. I'd like to go into the SOC or another blue team position. I read an article today saying that the future for cyber jobs is dim, and really lowered my confidence for getting a job. Is there any hope for me or should I reconsider my path?
