On November 8, ACI reported strong Q3 2018 financial results, with new bookings up 27% year to date versus 2017. To build on strong bookings results for the first half of 2018, the Global Sales Employee Experience (EX) Council in July announced the #Q3Sprint contest. The sales incentive program aimed to grow ACI’s new logo base, increase revenue from sales, drive pipeline acceleration and support the closing of deals earlier each quarter. Kathy Wang, an Account Executive in Singapore, was awarded for closing the most new bookings before August 31, 2018, and Shaun Wong, a Principal Account Executive in Malaysia, achieved the most revenue from new logo deals in Q3. U.S.-based Senior New Business Developer Jill Bohlkenwas recognized for the highest TCV/ICV from new logo deals in Q3. During the three-month period, the #Q3Sprint helped motivate the Global Sales team to achieve positive performances that contributed to ACI’s strong Q3 results and raising of its full-year revenue and profit guidance.

ACI’s Cape Town, South Africa, team recently partnered with five non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to donate refreshed laptops rather than disposing of them. The team will rotate donations to the various NGOs, which do not receive any funding from the South African government and therefore rely on donations, on a quarterly basis. “These NGOs are on a mission to make South Africa a better country," explained Christo Espach, Cape Town Local Site Leader and Software Engineering Manager. “Their efforts are helping the less fortunate, and to be part of the solution is an amazing opportunity. We can’t do everything, but we can do something." Christo also specifically thanked Global Desktop Support team members Sheik Nawaz, Anton Rossouw and Trevor Jones for making the donation effort a reality.
