Fluentgrid Wins the Best Exhibitor Award in the Second Apex Conference for the CEOs of Smart Cities. Fluentgrid won the Best Exhibitor award in the Industry category in the second Apex Conference for the CEOs of Smart Cities (ACCSC) at the NDMC Convention Center in New Delhi conducted during Feb 26-28. ACCSC is a platform for cities and companies to showcase the achievements under India’s Smart Cities Mission. Fluentgrid scored yet another significant win to setup an Integrated Command, Control and Communication Centre (ICCC) solution for Cochin (aka Kochi) smart city. Fluentgrid is the Master System Integrator for this prestigious project in Kerala; the tourist haven of India, popularly known as God’s Own Country. Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a public sector aerospace and defence electronics company, is our consortium partner for the project. Called the Queen of the Arabian Sea, Kochi was an important spice trading centre on the west coast of India, since 14th century. The 440 sq.km. city Kochi metropolitan region is home to about 2.1 million people. Kochi ranks first in the total number of international and domestic tourist arrivals in Kerala. Fluentgrid to transform three power utilities of Odisha, India Fluentgrid scored yet another significant win to transform commercial and enterprise operations for three power distribution companies -SOUTHCO, NESCO and WESCO- in the East Indian state of Odisha. Fluentgrid will implement CIS and ERP applications and provide IT infrastructure, in partnership with Bosch and ABM. The project is funded under the second phase of the Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS) scheme of the Ministry of Power, Government of India. The project covering about 4 million consumers across three DISCOMs, is being steered by OPTCL, one of the largest transmission utilities in the country.
