  • This week we presented to Tourism, Government and local leaders in Santo Domingo about our latest expansion of Service in the Dominican Republic. We are excited to share our company's growth plans and underline our commitment to the community. With the addition of the four new routes announced in December 2019, Frontier Airlines now offers nine routes to three cities in the Dominican Republic: Santo Domingo, Punta Cana and Santiago. In that regard, Daniel Shurz, senior Vice president of Commerce at Frontier Airlines, said: “We are very excited to visit Santo Domingo this week and meet with local stakeholders to share our growth plans and highlight Frontier Airlines' commitment to the country,” and stressed, “We see a great opportunity and demand for affordable travel to and from the Dominican Republic, and we are happy to have such an exceptional partnership with local officials and the community to support our service.”

  • Great events yesterday at Miami International Airport, BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), Ontario International Airport, San Juan Airport and Aviacion Guatemalteca! We are so excited about our 25 new routes, including service to Central America!

  • We are excited to announce 25 new nonstop flights! We are expanding our service in Baltimore, Los Angeles, Miami, Newark and San Juan, Puerto Rico and two new countries – Guatemala and El Salvador In addition, we are launching our newest crew base in Miami in March 2020. The base will create new jobs in Miami for pilots and flight attendants, contributing to the area’s economic growth.

  • The Frontier Women's Leadership Network hosted a panel this past week focusing on, "Women in Leadership: Be Fearless, Influence, Innovate, and Inspire." The panel featured four incredible women, who shared their personal experiences with diversity in their organizations, personal branding and misconceptions about women leaders, balancing their personal and professional lives, and the future of leadership in their industries. Huge thanks to our Frontier team who helped organize this event and to our amazing panelists: Patricia Pineda (Corporate Board Member - Frontier Airlines, Levi Strauss & Co and retired C-Suite executive), Elyse Swedberg (Frontier Airlines Denver Base Chief Pilot overseeing approximately 600 pilots. Formerly at Trans State Airlines.), Jodi Rolland (Divisional Director for Consumer Banking & Wealth Management for JPMorgan Chase Bank. Leads a team of over 11,000 people across 1,249 branches in the western U.S.) and Pamela Coe (Secretary and SVP at Liberty Media and Director at the Denver Rescue Mission. Board member for Expedia).

  • FRONTIER AIRLINES INTRODUCES FRIENDS FLY FREE BECAUSE FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS TRAVEL ALONE DENVER. May 16, 2019 – Today, Frontier Airlines, introduced its new Friends Fly Free promotion aimed at making it easier and more affordable to travel offering one free round-trip ticket with the purchase of one round-trip Discount Den Fare, on qualifying flights and dates. With more than 100 destinations to choose from, Frontier is removing the obstacles for folks to travel together whether it’s for a romantic beach getaway or a BFF weekend escape. “We’re excited to offer yet another way for our customers to save on flying with our new Friends Fly Free promotion,” said Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President, Commercial of Frontier Airlines. “Earlier this year, Frontier began offering Discount Den members our popular Kids Fly Free promotion and both of these offers highlight the foundation of our mission -- helping people to travel affordably, more often, and to see new places and connect with loved ones. That’s why we are committed to delivering Low Fares Done Right every day."

  • FRONTIER AIRLINES FLIGHT ATTENDANTS RATIFY FIVE-YEAR COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT May15, 2019 DENVER, CO – Low-fare carrier, Frontier Airlines and its flight attendants, represented by the Association of Flight Attendants-CWA (AFA), announced the ratification of a new five-year collective bargaining agreement today. Of the 88 percent of eligible flight attendants who voted, 94 percent cast ballots in favor of the agreement. “We are pleased that our flight attendants have ratified this agreement,” said Jake Filene, Senior Vice President, Customers of Frontier Airlines. “I would like to thank our dedicated flight attendants, the AFA Master Executive Council, AFA and company negotiating committees, as well as recognize the dedicated work of the National Mediation Board in achieving this deal that provides our flight attendants with the pay, retirement and work rule improvements they deserve.”

  • FRONTIER AIRLINES' PILOTS RATIFY FIVE-YEAR COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT DENVER, CO – Low-cost carrier, Frontier Airlines and its pilots, represented by the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l (ALPA), announced the ratification of a new five-year working agreement today. Of the 99 percent of pilots who voted, 77 percent cast ballots in favor of the agreement. Frontier Airlines’ agreement with ALPA includes an average 53 percent across-the-board pay increase on date of signing, double-digit direct contributions to pilots’ retirement plans, and $75 million in ratification compensation. “We are pleased to have reached this agreement with our pilots and believe it gives them best-in-class salary and benefits while also ensuring Frontier’s continued growth,” said Barry Biffle, President and CEO of Frontier Airlines. “Frontier would like to thank the ALPA leadership, and recognize the dedicated work of the National Mediation Board, in achieving this deal that will ensure security for everyone’s future.”

  • FRONTIER AIRLINES' NEW KIDS FLY FREE PROGRAM DEEPENS COMMITMENT TO FAMILIES DENVER– Frontier Airlines is committed to families, and what better way to demonstrate that than helping America’s kids fly for free. That’s right, today the low-fare airline announced that children 14 years and younger can now fly free when travelling with an adult through the airline’s Discount Den travel club on qualifying flights. With more than 100 destinations to choose from, Frontier is removing the obstacles for families to travel together whether it’s for a sunny vacation or a visit to grandma’s house. “Kids Fly Free shows our continued commitment to being America’s affordable and family-friendly airline,” said Barry Biffle, President and CEO of Frontier Airlines. “We’re the only airline going all out for families in this way – it’s exactly what we mean at Frontier by Low Fares Done Right.”
