Celebrating our core value of Developing People, come witness the journey of learning in 2020 and know what's beyond.
In quest of living our core value of Inclusivity we met a group of Transgenders to understand their struggles, needs, and how Harbinger Group along with Karve Samaj Seva and Samaj Vikas Vibhag, Pune can support this less privileged community. This meeting allowed us to interact with a small section of transgenders where they shared their struggles about the inequality of employment, basic needs of toilets at the workplace, lack of medical facilities at hospitals, no identification camps to create basic documents like Aadhar cards, and most important issues of acceptance, respect, and inclusion. While this was an introductory meeting where we distributed hygiene kits and spoke to them over tea and snacks, this meeting was a true eye-opener that this section of our society of so neglected, deprived of, and unaccepted and that we must come forward do something for them.
