Best Practice Conclave (BPC) 2020 dated Aug 18, saw the presenters sharing their best practices and how they have improved project management and customer experience in their area of work with more than 55 attendees, connected remotely. Conclave began with the welcome note by Mr Hemanta Chandra Bhatt. This was followed by the internal speakers, Shashank Shukla, Sonam Srivastava & Prabhat Pandey sharing the best practice followed in their respective projects. Then it was time for the invited Industry Expert, Mr. Prashant J Mavinkare to share his thoughts around Kanban & its merits. Mr. Mavinkare is an enterprise agile transformation Coach and accredited Kanban trainer with 17+ years of experience. The Conclave was declared closed by Mr. Vinod Sood, Managing Director, HSC. In his concluding address, Mr. Sood spoke about the need for continuous innovative changes that bring about improvements. He emphasized that we need to nurture a culture that enables to figure out best ways to accomplish more, given the existing structure & resources one has.
As the pandemic progressed around the World, region by region ( Japan then Italy, US ,Bahamas ,Singapore), we had HSCians at each of those locations. The entire HSC machinery worked overtime, leaving no stone unturned to bring every HSCian back home safely. Mr Vinod Sood invited as one of the esteemed panellists for CII virtual conference on Artificial Intelligence on June 30 2020 The panel discussion emphasised on how Artificial intelligence (AI) has made in-roads into our daily lives without making it explicitly evident from app-based cab aggregators to digital assistants on smartphones. How it is fast becoming the most significant technology of our era and will immensely benefit National initiatives like Make in India, Skill India and Digital India. In his concluding address , Mr Sood who Co-Chairs CII Regional Committee(NR) on AI, said , “... while concluding I am of the opinion that we should examine the areas across private and public industries where the AI continuum ( augmented, assisted and autonomous intelligence ) could be applicable as well as a robust AI policy framework that needs to touch upon the social, economic and ethical considerations of a well-governed society. These efforts will foster a balanced environment in India for innovation and leadership in AI."
