Hughes India will enable Internet service for each gram panchayat using capacity from ISRO’s GSAT-19 and GSAT-11 satellites with the Hughes JUPITER System, the de facto standard for satellite broadband implementations, in use on more than 40 satellites worldwide. Hughes Systique India (HSC) is proud to be part of this key initiative as it is involved in Software design, development and testing of all the major subsystems of Jupiter.

Mr Vinod Sood, Managing Director, Hughes Systqiue in conversation with Ms Shrija Agrawal, Executive Editor, HT Ideas, HT Digital about “SME rebooting and the way forward. “ During the panel discussion, Mr Sood elucidated how lack of access to capital holds the SMEs & start-ups back from realizing their full potential, especially the working capital that’s even more harder to come by if the company is not profitable. The SMEs need to be supported by provision of lower cost of capital and deepening the sources of capital both on capital as well as pricing front. To this effect technologies like Data Analytics, AI & ML can play a very effective role in both increasing the accessibility and reducing the cost of providing capital. He also emphasized that the SMEs , business & entrepreneurs, too need to be more transparent, honest and discharge their obligations towards the banks in timely manner.
