Across all our locations, we hosted 6 Christmas parties that brought together over 500 incredible individuals. The joy and warmth shared during these gatherings truly embody the spirit of the season! But that's not all – our amazing team has gone above and beyond to spread the festive cheer beyond our offices. 🎁 We're thrilled to announce that we've collected an impressive stack of gifts for children, supporting the Wood Street Mission's mission to bring joy to families living on a low income in Manchester and Salford. Because every child deserves a gift to unwrap and a smile on Christmas morning! In addition to our gift drive, we've also embraced the season of giving with our Christmas Jumper Days. 🧥 Not only did our team look fabulous in their festive attire, but we also used these days to raise funds for Save the Children. Together, we've made a positive impact on the lives of children around the world, ensuring they have a brighter and happier future. At IRIS we’re passionate about our Social Purpose: to inspire and support the next generation of talented young people to achieve their potential through a career in tech. This year, we've created over forty work placements for young people starting their career, and hosted workplace experience days for over fifty students from local schools to give them a taste of the world of work. We've partnered with organisations such as the Prince's Trust, Salford University, Slough Business Community partnership and Universiteti Metropolitan Tirana to create work experiences and internships across a diverse range of teams at IRIS including engineering, customer support, marketing and finance. Our goal is to build confidence and skills to those kick-starting their careers. Through these placements we’re creating opportunities for those who might face barriers entering the world of work, promoting social mobility and taking action on socioeconomic diversity.
