Pros

Great benefits package, tuition assistance, room for advancement.

Cons

Heavy workload, tons of hours during season (sportservice), low pay overall for time required

Does Delaware North offer housing assistance?

Pros

The fact that they have couples housing

Cons

Management isn’t the best HR sucks she’s very unknowledgeable shouldn’t be an HR turnover is high they rush you to get rooms clean and they try to cut hours if your not working fast enough or management wants to leave early I wouldn’t work there ever again

Advice to Management

Treat staff better so you’ll have more reliable staff

What kind of career opportunities exist at Delaware North?

Pros

Lots of opportunity to move around, great locations

Cons

Too many corporate programs put out all at once. Corporate is not keeping up with needs from the units.

Advice to Management

Regroup on all of the corporate initiatives and decide which ones should have priority.

Does Delaware North have any sort of mentoring programme?

Pros

Good way to get your foot in the door. Coworkers were a good time. Decent amount of project work and the ability to take leadership of a couple projects. Manager was a good mentor. Opportunities to travel to other locations.

Cons

Pay was terrible for the amount of work I had to do. Irregular hours. No room for growth or more specialized roles, unless you work at corporate headquarters.

Advice to Management

Pay college interns a little more than a stand worker, especially if they're going to be doing more work that requires some background in the field they're working in.

Manager was a good mentor.
