They play favorites and really let the company suffer because of it. As far as retail jobs go, they aren't bad. The hours are fair and PTO, health insurance, 401k match, and benefits are the best I've had yet in the city.

Difficult to get promoted, though if you are a favorite there are many opportunities for growth.

Business exposure, free-form creativity. Learn on the job, very hands-on. Directive easy to read.

Head office communicating with store management if something as big as a closure is coming - minimal notice meant a lot of people out of a job at a time of year where getting hired is more than challenging

Employee discounts, sample sales, health benefits, wellness program

No growth, supervisors fraternizing with employees outside of work, pay is low.
