Pros
Good benefits and salary is as per market. Most days can leave work by 6pm. Insurance is very good and covers most treatments including dental.
Cons
Less experienced Westerners are preferred over more experienced and talented others. This could be discrimination or just preference. Non professional and biased behavior by some senior folks.
Advice to Management
Stop changing strategies and people every 2 months. This impacts alignment and motivation.

Does Lidl have a pension plan?
Pros
Salary is the ONLY pro
Cons
Everything - work life balance, benefits (the pension is the lowest possible amount), sick pay (only 10 days) but most of all the absolutely toxic horrendous hierarchy who are all nice to your face but happily stab you in the back. Will interview disabled candidates but will find a reason not to hire them as their stores are setup only for able bodied employees The Area Managers are all ‘yes men’ and are completely disinterested in developing their teams nor supporting their managers. Health and safety is a joke and the only input from senior management is based on fear. A truly dreadful organisation - take your skills elsewhere - don’t join this awful company!.
Advice to Management
Stop hiring graduates with no people management skills and making them Area Managers. Start having Heads of Sales and RD’s who actually care about their teams. Stop referring to the hierarchy as ‘The Executive Team’ as all it does is alienate your store teams - you are no better than them and are just as replaceable. Stop dictating to your Store Managers that they have to be fully flexible to business needs but then tell them they have to do 1 late, 1 early and 3 midshifts. Start treating your Managers fairly across the board and stop protecting your favourites.
