Does Philips offer parental leave?

Pros

Vacation + Holiday time off, new parental leave to supplement STD during maternity leave.

Cons

A lot of processes are being altered to create more bureaucracy. The company is becoming less agile. Many departments are too lean, I suppose to get more output for less up front cost; however there are some holes that are too wide to fill with the current headcount and will eventually result in significant misses with regards to quality and on-time-to-market projects for NPD.

Advice to Management

Be more transparent about the future of the business with your employees.

Not a con but you must be an inspirational and fast paste individual

Does Philips offer employee discounts?

Pros

Competitive salary but not as good as other companies like Siemens, Medtronic, etc. Work Life Balance. Product(Personal Health products only) employee discount.

Cons

Time In - Time out policy. 1 minute late = salary deduction. Found this policy demotivating. Not flexible working hours. Poor health benefit package.

What is health insurance like at Philips?

Pros

The people, the pay, the benefits, the schedule, and the company culture.

Cons

The health insurance plan is high deductible but the company tries to offset that with contributions to your HSA and other financial benefits.
